County Council records
The records of Kinross County Council and its predecessors are held by Perth & Kinross Council Archive.

County Constabulary records
Kinross County Constabulary was formed in 1836 and merged with the Perthshire Constabulary to become the Perth & Kinross County Constabulary in 1930. Some records of the Perth & Kinross County Constabulary are held by Perth & Kinross Council Archive, but the location of pre-1930 records of the Kinross County Constabulary is not known.

Valuation Rolls
Valuation rolls for Kinross-shire for the period 1855 to 1989 are held by the National Archives of Scotland. Perth & Kinross Council Archive hold valuation rolls for 1872-1976, 1983, and 1985-1988.

Medical Officer of Health Reports
Annual reports of the Medical Officer of Health (MOH) for the County of Kinross are held, for the period 1891-1972, by the National Archives of Scotland. Perth & Kinross Council Archive hold MOH reports for Kinross County for 1896-1913, 1919-1929, and (as Perth & Kinross Joint County) from, 1930 to 1972.

Vehicle Licensing records
