County Council records
The records of Kincardine County Council and its predecessors are held by Aberdeenshire Archives.

County Constabulary records
Some records of Kincardine County Constabulary have been deposited with Aberdeen City Archives.

Valuation Rolls
Assessors’ rolls Kincardineshire for the period 1855 to 1989 are held by the National Archives of Scotland. Aberdeenshire Archives hold valuation rolls for Kincardineshire for the years 1862/3, 1869/70, 1873/74, 1878/79, and 1881/82-1989 (except for the burgh of Inverbervie prior to 1930/31).

Medical Officer of Health Reports
Annual reports of the Medical Officer of Health for the County of Kincardine are held by the National Archives of Scotland for the years 1891-1972; by Aberdeen University Special Collections and Archives for the years 1893-1924; by the Northern Health Services Archive for the years 1949-1972; and by Aberdeenshire Archives for the years 1970 and 1972.
