County Council records
The minutes of Berwick County Council are held by the Scottish Borders Archive & Local History Centre.

County Constabulary records
Chief Constables' annual reports for the Berwick County Constabulary for the years 1923, 1929-38, and 1940-47 are held by the Scottish Borders Archive & Local History Centre. Other records of the Berwickshire Constabulary are believed to be in the custody of Lothian & Borders Police.

Valuation Rolls
Assessors' rolls for County for the period 1855 to 1989 are held by the National Archives of Scotland. Valuation rolls for the landward area of Berwickshire, 1856-1974, are held by the Scottish Borders Archive & Local History Centre. The rolls include the burghs of Coldstream, Eyemouth and Duns from 1894, and Lauder from 1930.

Medical Officer of Health Reports
Annual reports of the Medical Officer of Health for the County of Berwick, for the period 1891-1971, are held by the National Archives of Scotland. Annual reports for 1911-12, 1919-23, 1925, 1929-65, 1967-69, and 1971-72 are held by the Scottish Borders Archive & Local History Centre.
